This was quite the project. If you already went to my Box page, you'd have seeen it there too. But if not, this was something iImade for the side of this box i made. And everything you see, was created from scratch, with photoshop. It's obvious what it is, and yup.. this was a VERY big time consuming project. But well worth it in the end.

A lightning ball, that I look at now and just shake my head and pity. Pity that I thought this was good. After I got Xenofex, which lets you make instant lightning, I went crazy with it, and made this. Which is a ton of lightning and electric effects. It's pretty basic, and rather sloppy. Though.. it doesn't look too bad when small.. See?

This is the place to go to see computer art like: cards, digital collages, and professional quality advertising commercial artwork. All of the pictures here were either created from scratch, or used other works in combination with effects and backrounds, etc, to make a new picture all together. The program I used to make all of this was, yet again, Photoshop.
But some of the earlier stuff was done with 3.0, before I had a chance to use the later versions.
DISCLAIMER: all the pictures Final Fantasy related have characters and images belonging to Squaresoft, and in no way do I ever intend to use them for sale. I only use the images to show off my abilities, and the same goes for anything else I happen to use. None of it is for sale in the commercial market. However, these pictures ARE mine. I made them, so if anyone wants to use them, I ask that you please ask my premission. I could easily put embedded images in the files, so they would be of no use to anyone, but I am hoping it will never come to that.

All that aside, enjoy the art. The link at the bottom will bring you too the Advertising artwork that actually has a purpose. Everything else is just for kicks or for total randomness!
And Other Random Things..
Final Fantasy Posters
One of the things I played around with, to get myself better at using Photoshop, was making little poster. Final Fantasy based ones, to be specific. Around this time, I was big into FFVII, so I would take scans from my guide or grab pictures online, and play with them. Cloud's is the most basic, and pathetically easy. it's all layer opacity. Then I started getting into lighting effects and layer blending modes, with Aeris. With RedXIII's, I started getting really complex. I made that middle fireball myself, and blended out the monster that was in the fire pillar. After I had that fireball down, too, I applied the same concept to his name. I really like the feeling of energy you get from this one, even if it's one of my oldest. Then I played FF8 and decided to play with some new characters. By this time though, I was already extremely good with PS, and it wasn't really a matter of trying new things, but instead.. finding what things could work the best. So for squall it was mostly how I could mix around the blending modes. And then Seifer, I actually made all that fire in the background and on his hand, and reproduced that symbol. After I did the fire, I saw some GREAT possiblities with it, so I played around and finally got his face to actually show up in it. Simple blending mode, but tricky to get it just right. Well it's all said and done though, I find that to be one of my best.
This was a birthday card for my brother. I don't even remember what I gave him.. but it had something to do with charging!

A christmas card for my parents. Simple enough, eh?

Some randomness that I did when I took this mountain picture, and slapped a million filters on it. Quite the crazy end result

Beware of the Evil Smiley! I forget why exactly I made this too, but it had alot to do with my good friend Katey, who was/is obsessed with Smilieys. So I think I was just playing around and.. came up with it! It makes a good desktop wallpaper, or a door sign!

This was made specifically FOR Katey. Too bad at the time, I was just awful with colors, and the text is damn near impossible to read. It says:
Ah.. the everyday faces of life..
Just try to aviod THAT one.. ---->
pointing at a totally crazy or diseased or sick face.. it's just messed up, end of story.

And another for Katey! Though I gave this to everyone, it was designed mostly for her.
