This ship started out as just me playing around as I showed my brother how easy it is to make a box modeled ship, but as I played more with it, I became more involved in the project. Pretty soon I actually had my best ship yet, but what a pain to texture.. because it was all one mesh, and I didn't want to do the cheatsy way like I did with my red ship. Nasty texture stretching. Plus, I wanted alot more detail this time around. So the solution was to multi-sub object the whole thing. If you don't know what that is.. don't worry about it. But for those that do, this sucker is over 33 segments, and each one has a bump map, a diffuse map, and a specular map. So thats actually 99 different maps.. when you think about it.. But I'm not even done! I still have to do the gun and the bottom of the ship. This project has been put on hold though, because I just haven't had the time (or desire really) to keep texturing it. Still, what is there, you can see. And hopefully you can tell the amount of detail I put into it too.

There isn't much more I can say about this ship, or the pictures. But at the bottom, is a close up version of two different logos I was trying for it. Every other picture can be clicked on and blown up to a bigger view. That one is as big as it gets.
